Feel Good.
Spread Good.
I learned unconditional love in Arizona, but California is where I grew free. I cultivated moxie in South America and found my voice in Portland, Oregon. My yoga practice permeated through these experiences, softening the edges and deepened the grooves. My hope as a yoga teacher is to share the ancient teachings as they are, for you to experience them through your lens.

RETREATS
Yay! Let's go to Kenya!
January 21st-26th, 2026
Logistics:
-
A deposit of $750 saves your spot.
-
We will be staying in the heart of an award-winning wildlife conservancy in Northern Kenya; a 3.5 hour drive from Nairobi and in the shadow of Mt. Kenya.
-
The nearest airport is Nairobi. The staff will pick us all up at a hotel in Nairobi in the morning on our first retreat day and we will drive together to the conservancy. With such long travel it is recommended to stay in Nairobi the night before so you can get a good nights sleep before our adventure begins!
-
The drive is on a primarily tarmacked road with scenic views including, the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
-
US residents require a travel visa to enter Kenya. The application is completed online and costs around $50USD.
-
Vaccinations may be recommended by your doctor for travel to Kenya.
-
Please also keep the remoteness of the area in mind if you have pre-existing health concerns as the nearest hospitals and medical facilities are a great distance away.

Accommodations:
-
Each cottage sleeps 4, with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms on either side and a shared living room in the middle.
-
The rooms can accommodate two separate beds or one shared bed.
-
In the cottage you will find an eco-friendly power system to charge your devices, hot and cold running water in the showers and wash basins, a collection of all natural bath products and soft bath towels.
-
Your cottage is also fully serviced; cleaned daily and has a private butler on call, should you need anything at all during your stay.
-
The long verandah looks out to the river and plains beyond.

The conservancy:
-
The conservancy was originally established as a cattle farm in 1988. Over time, it evolved into a wildlife sanctuary due to the increasing elephant populations.
-
The addition of the Safari cottages was created by a renowned guide with over 35 years of experience and a reputation as one of the best safari operators of his generation.
-
Today, it is known for being the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and home to the very last two white rhinos.
-
They have robust security measures, including armed patrols and a fully electrified perimeter fence to prevent human-wildlife conflict and to protect endangered species.

The game drives:
-
Included in our stay is unlimited, ethical game drives to view the wildlife while respecting their space.
-
We can expect to see the big five; lion, African bush elephant, Cape buffalo, African leopard, and black and white rhinos, as well as cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, hippos, zebras, and hyenas.
-
The animals are most active in the early mornings and at dusk, so most days will start with an optional early morning drive, and evenings will have a shorter drive with a sundowner (happy hour).
